Dear Members,
No doubt you have seen the new signage recently going up at the golf range. This is the start of a business development initiative by the Board at Saltford Golf Club to secure funds to allow the Club to update and improve the facilities within the Club.
We would therefore officially like you all to give a warm welcome to the Club our first major sponsor Alide Hire Services. The sponsorship deal, which has been in negotiation for the past 6 months, covers a 5-year period and includes the Driving Range together with the Range Targets, Distance Markers and Corporate Membership.

Alide Hire Services is well known throughout the area with offices in Bath, Bristol and just along the road in Keynsham. The range of hire services it offers covers all Tools from Alloy Towers to Woodworking Tools, Plant Hire from Dumpers to Telehandlers, Sanitation Services from Toilets to Welfare Units, together with Powered Access Equipment from Boom Lifts to Tracked Spider Lifts. It has been established for over 40 years and actually celebrated its 40th anniversary during the dreaded lockdown. As a result of this we are delighted that Alide Hire Services have decided to hold its belated 40th Anniversary Corporate Golf Day for its customers at the Club in September.
As a benefit to all the Members of the Club Alide Hire Services would also like to extend to the Members upon presentation of their Club Membership Card a discount when hiring any goods from Alide Hire Services.
Keep your eyes peeled for further promotions from Alide Hire Services. These promotions will be displayed at the driving range.
To further promote the Driving Range to all users and Members the Club and Alide Hire Services would like to advise that there are still advertising vacancies for businesses to sponsor Driving Range Bays. There are promotional boards on display within some of the bays to give users an idea of the size and locations available. For further details please contact the Club Office or Nick Hunt.
Finally a further newsletter article will follow soon giving more details of all companies and members who have supported and sponsored areas of the Club and course along with an update regarding the Members Trade Register.
