We supply all types of customers across the South West, specialising in an extensive range of Powered & Non-Powered Access, Tool, Plant, Portable Sanitation and Welfare hire.
JOB SUMMARY
Due to our continued growth and success, Alide Hire Services have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional individual to join our team and fill the position of HGV Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in the equipment hire industry and will play a key part in the day-to-day activity of the Operations department. Alide Hire are looking for someone who is focussed, dedicated and enjoys building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Through proper management of equipment, personnel and processes, the successful candidate must ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with specifications and ‘Good Practice’ requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The HGV Delivery Driver will be responsible for the daily deliveries and collections of Powered Access & Plant to and from Alide Hire depots and customer sites.
YOU WILL NEED TO BE
- Organised and highly motivated, with the ability to perform well and manage under pressure.
- Experienced HGV Driver
- IPAF Demonstrator Qualified (preferred but not necessary)
- Able to continuously operate at a high standard.
- Tenacious and adaptable with a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Work in line with strong Company values.
