  JOB SUMMARY

  Due to our continued growth and success, Alide Hire Services has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and professional individual to join our team and fill the position of Yard Operative based in the Keynsham Depot. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the equipment hire industry and a focus on continuously servicing equipment to a company-wide high standard, which exceeds the expectations of the customer.

  Alide Hire are looking for someone who is focussed, dedicated, and enjoys building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Through proper management of equipment, personnel and processes, the successful candidate must ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with specifications and ‘Good Practice’ requirements.

  WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  The Yard Operative will be responsible for the tidy presentation and overall operations and maintenance of the Keynsham Depot Yard and working environment. The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all Yard and Workshop areas.
  • Perform regular stock checks.
  • Co-ordinate with management to ensure all tasks are achieved on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, well-presented, and clearly marked with visible codes and safety stickers.
  • Prepare Picking Lists for customers.
  • Assist Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers and customers with loading and unloading.

  YOU WILL NEED TO BE

  • Organised and highly motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Tenacious and adaptable with a methodical approach to work.
  • Work in line with strong Company values.
  • Certified to Operate a Counter Balance FLT.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in the equipment hire industry and will play a key part in the day-to-day activity of the Operations department.

  Alide Hire are looking for someone who is focussed, dedicated and enjoys building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Through proper management of equipment, personnel and processes, the successful candidate must ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with specifications and ‘Good Practice’ requirements.

  WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  The Sanitation Operative will be responsible for the daily cleaning, maintenance, delivery and collection of site welfare facilities on customer sites.

  YOU WILL NEED TO BE

  • Organised and highly motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow instructions and interact with customers professionally and politely.
  • Tenacious and adaptable with a methodical approach to work.
  • Competent driver with good literacy and numeracy skills.
